Intended use of POP bandage
It is intended use to a retainer in orthopedic fixation,orthopedic,pipeline wrapping,does not directly contact the body.
Features of POP bandage
Quick solidification and steady within 2-5minutes.
Fast soaking in water: 5-10sec.
Dry very fast after solidification. The intensity reaches 3.2Mpa after 8min.
Compatible caloric value with human temperature: 3 5ºc-40ºc.
Solidification shape as per requests of the doctor and patient.
Wrap up 6-8 layers for general position of patient body, while wrap up 8-12 layers the pressured position.
Instruction of use for POP bandage
Keep your hands clean and dry before taking them.
◆ Usage: Suitable for orthopedics, fracture,fixation.
◆ Impregnation: use warm water at 25-30 °C. Use your fingers to hold the plastic core on one end and gently tilt the bandage 4 5 . Immerse in water and immerse for not less than 15 seconds until the bandages are free of air bubbles.
◆ Squeeze dry: Carefully remove the bandage from the water and transfer it to another container. Gently squeeze the excess water from both ends toward the center. Do not twist or over-extrude the bandage to avoid excessive gypsum powder loss.
◆ Molding: Bandages that are extruded out of water should be used immediately to avoid gypsum condensation and loss of plasticity.
The dressing is generally carried out by overlapping the loops. Do not over-tighten the bandages. The general part is wound 6-8 layers, and the stressed part is 8-12 layers.
◆ Flat: Flatten at the same time as the dressing to remove the bubbles in the bandage, make the layers evenly bonded, and modify the appearance to achieve a smooth and uniform appearance. Do not touch the plaster as it begins to condense.
◆ Curing time: 4-8 minutes common type.
